Architecture firm [Studio Gang](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mary-schmidt-campbell-center) has unveiled the finished design of the [John W Boyer Center](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/john-jay-college) which is its first French project. The campus is an academic building and the team approached the design in a way that would amplify the social connection of the students and professors. The structure is in the 13th arrondissement in Paris and was designed by its blend of [timber and steel structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/katajanokan-laituri).

The founding partner of Studio Gang, Jeanne Gang shares more about the design concept, stating "The Center in Paris is designed as a vertical campus. Its multilevel atrium provides all the spaces with light and offers visual connections across programs. We wanted the building to amplify social interactions, scholarly collaborations, and cultural exchange between the University and the city of Paris."
