The creative and colorful Johannesburg Zoo ads ask people to stop littering because "[animals can't be recycled](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cocacola-and-merlin-entertainments)." The campaign has three different posters, each showing [a different animal](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/return-of-the-cheetah) blending into pieces of garbage; a frog is seen on a fast food wrapper on the forest floor while a chameleon disguises itself next to a squished pop can and an octopus attaches itself to a big steel drum on the ocean floor.

The Johannesburg Zoo ads were created by the advertising agency Y&R in Johannesburg, South Africa. The photographer in charge of the great images was Des Ellis. The campaign is a great tool to open people's eyes to the [harm that litter causes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glad-x-sesame-street). The animal world can only depend on people to make it better.
