Joe Dragt is an artist who paints his pictures onto old computer motherboards. The Arizona-based artist was inspired to start his aptly named 'Painted Circuit Board Series' when he was tasked by his day job with taking 30 computers to a recycling plant.

Dragt decided to take one of the computers home to see if they could be used as a canvas. Turns out they could be, as Dragt has created several stunning paintings using [circuit boards as his canvas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ddbrand-circuit-board). I am a huge fan of the [artistic upcycling of old computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steam-deck-motherboard-case), which is probably why I like the 'Painted Circuit Board Series' so much.
