In these images, it's placed suggestively behind a chair at a long, empty table. The 'Jesus Lamp' is a beautiful light fixture on its own, but its effects are especially amplified when it's placed behind a chair--empty or not. Imagine this over your department manager's head at your monthly "success" meetings! **Implications** - Consumers are looking for ways to differentiate themselves from others. Home decor that is unconventional is appealing to those who want to represent their unique personality through their houses. Companies could focus on this when coming out with their newest items. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 18% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Unconventional Home Decor:** Companies could focus on creating unconventional home decor items that allow consumers to represent their unique personality. - **Personalized Lighting:** There is a growing demand for lighting fixtures that allow consumers to personalize their living spaces. - **Illuminated Furniture:** The integration of lighting into furniture designs offers a unique and visually appealing way to enhance home decor. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can tap into the trend of unconventional decor by offering unique and personalized lighting fixtures. - **Furniture:** Furniture manufacturers can explore the integration of lighting into their designs, creating illuminated furniture pieces that stand out in the market. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate unconventional lighting fixtures into their projects, providing clients with personalized and visually striking spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Suspended Halo Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lamplox-minimalist-floor-lamp.md) - [Scenic Architecture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-inspired-table-lamp.md) - [Architecturally Elegant Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juba-tl1-table-lamp.md) - [Hollow Candle-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lampe.md) - [Face Mask-Made Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anonymlux-lamp.md) - [Quirky Common Item Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/table-lamp-lighter.md) - [Reversible Glass Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jal.md) - [Hat-Like Fabric Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flying-lamp.md) - [Artfully Functional Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chant.md)
