# Indoor Playground Abodes The Jerry House Allows People to Relax and Have Fun By Jamie Danielle Munro | Published 2014-08-06 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jerry-house References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/design/onion-jerry-house-thailand-08-05-2014/) & [onion.co.th](http://www.onion.co.th/ant.php) The Jerry House by Onion architecture was designed so that the owners and visitors could relax and have fun. To achieve this goal, the team built a [playground inside the house](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onda-apartment), which certainly conveys the idea of having a good time. The house is located in Thailand, and is meant as a vacation home for a family with kids. Not only did they want an interactive space for the children, but for the adults too. The architects thus did a great job with finding this balance (it's not often a functional house can double as a playground, but Onion manages to make this happen here). Despite the playful aesthetic, the house still takes on a minimalist look, with a whitewashed interior and attractive furniture throughout.
