With dynamic renderings of superheroes looking like Greek gods and goddesses, each image incites viewers to puff out their chests and mimic the awesome poses as seen in each action-packed image. Jeremy Roberts is a ridiculously skilled Canadian comic artist who specializes in painting realistic depictions of characters from [Marvel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/masters-of-anatomy) and [DC Comics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dc-strong-berry-capn-crunch). It's evident through these pictures that Roberts has a profound understanding of art fundamentals, but his ability to make figures constantly look badass is something even many talented illustrators in his industry haven't quite mastered to this level. When not drawing the raddest comic book images you've ever seen, Roberts dabbles into rendering characters from franchises such as Voltron, Masters of the Universe, Evil Dead and Pirates of the Caribbean. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Realistic Superhero Illustrations:** Produce immersive and awe-inspiring realistic illustrations of popular superhero characters. - **Artistic Depictions of Popular Franchises:** Combine artistic talent with pop culture trends to create unique and engaging character depictions. - **Mastery of Art Fundamentals:** Focus on developing a deep understanding of art fundamentals to master the craft of character illustration. ### Who This Affects Most - **Comic Book Industry:** Introduce a fresh and realistic take on popular superhero characters in the comic book industry. - **Entertainment Industry:** Collaborate with entertainment companies to create engaging promotional artwork for popular franchises. - **Digital Art Industry:** Develop and market artistic skills in the digital art industry to produce realistic and immersive character illustrations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artistic Jaw-Dropping Lessons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/masters-of-anatomy.md) - [Superhero-Themed DIY Art Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jim-lee-batman.md) - [Comic Book Hero Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comic-book-heros.md) - [Comic-Inspired Soda Cans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-heroes.md) - [Cartoon Superhero Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crimson-hawk-ranger.md) - [3D Superhero Block-Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amazing-spiderman-set.md) - [Raw Sports Emotion Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/game-exhibition.md) - [Sci-Fi-Inspired Classical Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sen-donnan.md) - [Physics-Informed Digital Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/motion-sculpture.md)
