I agree with AnotherFaceInTheCrowd when he assumes that it is entitled ‘social’ because its design ‘[brings two people together](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bench-for-two).’ Born in Copenhagen and based in Berlin, this talented designer has created a collection worthy of admiration. The Jeppe Hein Social Bench line is sure to be one of your favorite Trend Hunter posts, especially after you check out the gallery above. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 68% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Social Seating:** Designing furniture that encourages social interaction and fosters community-building opportunities can be a disruptive innovation opportunity in the industry. - **Interactive Public Furniture:** Developing interactive outdoor installations that engage people to interact with one another in public spaces can be a disruptive innovation opportunity in the industry. - **Urban Design:** Creating innovative designs that reinvent urban landscape can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for urban planners, architects and real estate developers alike. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Design:** Furniture designers can explore creating products that promote socialization and community-building opportunities to meet evolving consumer preferences for shared experiences. - **Public Space Design:** There is an opportunity for architects and city planners to rethink public space design by creating interactive installations and seating that bring people together and encourage human connection. - **Real Estate Development:** Real estate developers can explore incorporating interactive public seating and installations to create socially-engaging outdoor spaces, enhancing property values and community appeal. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artfully Crafted Public Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/us-her-him.md) - [Interaction-Promoting Public Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bench-seating.md) - [Seesaw-Like Playful Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balance-bench.md) - [Adaptive Public Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adp-bench.md) - [Dual Sculpture Seating Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immaterial-0001.md) - [Threshold Bench Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/torii.md) - [Modular Outdoor Space Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mass-public-bench.md) - [Unconventional Outdoor Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-joy-furniture.md) - [Chic Recycled Aluminum Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bello-bench.md)
