# Multimillionaire Diva Mansions The Jennifer Lopez $18m Hamptons House is Extremely Extravagant By Marriska Fernandes | Published 2011-10-03 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jennifer-lopez-18m-hamptons-house References: [pursuitist](http://pursuitist.com/house/inside-jennifer-lopezs-new-18m-hamptons-mansion/) & [corcoran](http://www.corcoran.com/index.aspx) [Multimillion dollar homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-miami) are always buzzworthy, with Jennifer Lopez's $18m [Hamptons House](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meadowlark) as the latest juicy residence. She purchased the 2-acre Mecox Bay property that is [luxuriously lavish](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marianna-tomlenovich) and would definitely make your heart skip a beat. The exclusive gallery, captured by the Corcoran Group, reveals images from inside the house that are simply extravagant. The 14,000 square-foot home has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, several walk-in closets (sigh!) and numerous fireplaces. The heart-thumping Water Mill house is deigned by well-renowned architect John Laffey. The elegant two-storey structure has French doors, marble counters and many more luxurious add-ons. The first floor holds the guest suite and the second floor holds the magnificent master bedroom. The "necessities" include an elevator, three-car garage and a formal parking court. With such glorious views, J.Lo is sure to be having a blast while the audience can only sigh -- hey, at least we have the gallery. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Multimillion Dollar Homes:** Disruptive innovation opportunities: Creating affordable luxury homes that offer similar extravagance but at a lower price point. - **Luxurious Add-ons:** Disruptive innovation opportunities: Developing innovative products and services that enhance the luxury living experience in high-end homes. - **Exclusive Real Estate:** Disruptive innovation opportunities: Utilizing technology and data analytics to disrupt the traditional real estate market and improve the buying and selling process. ### Who This Affects Most - **Real Estate:** Disruptive innovation opportunities: Integrating virtual reality and augmented reality technology to revolutionize the way properties are showcased and experienced. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunities: Leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to create personalized and automated interior design solutions for luxury homes. - **Construction:** Disruptive innovation opportunities: Implementing advanced building materials and construction techniques to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the construction of high-end homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Concrete-Glass Contrasting Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jenny-peysin-architecture.md) - [Celebrity-Endorsed RTD Margaritas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-delola.md) - [Dynamic Reimagined Miami Penthouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jz-apartment.md) - [Glass-Reflective Illuminated Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invisible-house.md) - [Hampton Bays Modern Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tami-wassong.md) - [Pyramid-Like Suburban Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oza-sabbeth-architects.md) - [Minimal Beach-Side Luxe Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palm-beach-residence.md) - [Supercar-Inspired Luxurious Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tierra-viva.md) - [Luxe Metaverse Mansions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cavalli-mansion.md)
