The pieces are a mixture of photography and sketched work, with pictures providing the centerpiece and Delaurenti filling out the rest of the scenes via pencil. Her attention to detail is acute as she incorporates colors that match the snapshots, making the natural settings appear seamless as each medium blends into the other. Flowing beds of water, family portraits and mountains are only some of the backdrops that Delaurenti has focused on. No matter the subject matter however, what remains consistent is her flawless pairing of [pencil with stills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawing-series). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Customization](https://www.trendhunter.com/customization) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Photographic-sketch Composites:** The fusion of photography and sketching creates a unique form of artistic expression. - **Seamless Integration of Mediums:** Artists are finding innovative ways to blend different art forms seamlessly. - **Attention to Detail:** Artists are incorporating intricate details to create visually stunning compositions. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** Artists and designers can explore new methods of combining different mediums to create captivating artwork. - **Photography:** Photographers can experiment with incorporating elements of sketching into their photographic work. - **Education and Workshops:** Educational institutions and workshops can offer classes and training programs on the technique of photographic-sketch composites. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md) - [Juxtaposing Artful Collaborative Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sea-galaxy.md) - [Intersecting Dimensional Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diorama.md) - [Digital City-Inspired Art Works](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-central-station.md) - [Structured Art Shows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flowchart.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Sculptural Mixed-Media Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-echoes.md) - [Juxtaposing Digital Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/riflessi.md) - [Sculptural Paper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti.md)
