After hearing that a front was slowly approaching, Cresswell swam 200 meters into the water so that she capture the cloudy skies and the way in which they meet the sea's surface. Cresswell was alerted about the skies by a friend. By literally submerging herself in the water, Cresswell was able to do away with cliffs that would have otherwise obscured the shot.
