Made to look like an understated glass dome, the 'Darwin Tank' is a carefully designed habitat that can fit up to three different jellyfish at one time. Underneath the dome, a series of [LED lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alherd), pumps, filters and tubes are all discreetly hidden inside a cube-shaped base. The secret to this particular aquarium lies within the movement of the water inside the domed tank itself. Made by Belgium's The Darwin Sect, this line of jellyfish tanks accommodates the fragile nature of the underwater creature. The glass dome uses a unique pumping system to create gentle water currents that are visually striking without being damaging to each individual jellyfish. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 90% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Minimalistic Aquariums:** Designing aquariums that are aesthetically pleasing and blend seamlessly into modern spaces. - **Discreet Technology Integration:** Incorporating functional technology elements into the design of aquariums while keeping them hidden from view. - **Nature-inspired Innovation:** Developing innovative solutions that mimic and support the delicate nature of aquatic creatures. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Creating elegant and minimalistic aquariums that enhance the aesthetic appeal of modern spaces. - **Home Decor:** Providing consumers with unique and visually striking jellyfish tanks that serve as captivating decorative pieces in their homes. - **Aquarium Equipment:** Designing and manufacturing specialized aquarium products that prioritize the well-being and comfort of delicate aquatic creatures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Interactive Jellyfish Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jewels-of-the-sea.md) - [Fish Tank-Inspired Japanese Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nao-iwanari.md) - [Jellyfish-Inspired Interactive Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jellyfish-robot.md) - [3D-Printed Aquatic Life Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooj-design-wavy-lamp.md) - [Impressive DIY Terrariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-terrarium1.md) - [Retro Jelly Mold-Inspired Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jelly-mirror.md) - [Romantic Jellyfish Feasts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jellyfish-feast.md) - [Automated Ocean-Cleaning Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jellyfishbot.md) - [Aquatic Smartphone Photography Domes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smartphone-mobile-mini-dome.md)
