In these bizarre shots, a blonde woman goes for walks and picks up some groceries, all the while being followed by an [inflatable pink elephant](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-dancer). This humorously surreal series was inspired by the idea that one can't think about a pink elephant without actually imagining one. While looking at these photos, viewers are meant be wondering whether or not this [bubblegum colored](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hubbabubbabuilding) elephant is supposed to be in the mind of the woman. Jean-Baptiste Courtier turns these otherwise serene and almost sad photographs into hard to ignore images, and all by incorporating a giant inflatable elephant. These dream-like shots will have viewers picturing pink elephants the next time they go grocery shopping. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 25% | Activity: 29% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Inflatable Photography:** Exploring the art of photography with inflatable props can take surrealism to another level of creativity. - **Surreal Outings:** Integrating unexpected props into an otherwise ordinary scene can produce a striking visual surrealism. - **Mental Association Imagery:** Art that makes use of mental associations can bring abstract ideas or emotions to life. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** Venturing into novel approaches of incorporating a non-typical object in a photograph can disrupt how traditional photography is understood. - **Advertising:** Using unconventional and creative approaches in advertisements can catch more attention and make a brand stand out in a saturated marketing environment. - **Art:** The use of surrealism in art can evoke emotions and challenge imagination beyond what is considered typical. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Outdoor Wildlife Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-great-elephant-migration.md) - [Surrealist Pop-Up Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surrealist-popup.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Three-Part Photography Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rhinoceros-gallery1.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Inflatable Vibrant Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-dancer.md) - [Immersive Balloon Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balloon-story-popup.md) - [Inflated-Illusion Ceramic Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blow-up.md) - [Pink-Detailed Art Gallery Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superzoom.md)
