The amazing cabinetry designed by Nouvel looks like it belongs in the wing of a hospital but is meant to take up a wall in your home. The nearly transparent cupboards open to backlit shelving that appear on the outside to be an X-ray examination screen. It’s actually not a tough task to recreate this illusion in a DIY project if you’re feeling inspired and have construction capabilities, but sometimes it’s best to leave modern masterpieces like this to the experts.
