Designed by Lyle Yang, the router incorporates a vented design that will dissipate excess heat with ease, while the eight antennas that have been attached onto the unit ensure [consistent connectivity](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avm-fritzbox-7690). This helps the unit to [spread WiFi evenly across a space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nighthawk-rs100) rather than keeping it strong for those in one area and weaker for others in another. The JCG Router speaks to the increasing demand for [wireless connectivity products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dualband-routers) that will provide advanced capabilities without the need for large equipment or accessories. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Vented Router Design:** Opportunity to innovate an aesthetic router design that prioritizes heat dissipation while maintaining the functionality of the router. - **Octa-antenna Connectivity:** Innovation to create routers with multiple antennas that spread WiFi signals evenly across a space. - **Wireless Connectivity Products:** Innovation to develop advanced wireless connectivity products that do not require large equipment or accessories. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Networking:** Opportunity for the manufacturing and marketing of routers with advanced connectivity and a vented design intended for home use. - **Office Networking:** Opportunity for the development of routers with octa-antenna connectivity and vented design to improve internet connection and heat dissipation for office use. - **Consumer Electronics:** Opportunity for consumer electronics companies to develop wireless connectivity products that are portable, advanced and sophisticated without the need for large equipment or accessories. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Wifi Routers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/huawei-x3-pro-wifi.md) - [Smokestack Factory-Inspired Routers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/complex-1.md) - [Advanced Avian-Inspired Routers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dlink-aquila-pro-ai-m95.md) - [Minimalist Circular Router Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/island-router.md) - [Interchangeable Cover Networking Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vibrant-wifi-router.md) - [Modern Affordable Routers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/netgear-1.md) - [Mesh Gaming Routers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rog-rapture-gt6.md) - [Accessible WiFi 7 Routers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/netgear-orbi-370-series.md) - [Customized Illumination Gaming Routers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tplink-archer-ge800.md)
