# Trumpet-Inspired Shower Heads The 'JAZZ' Shower Bathes You in Musical Inspiration By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2018-01-18 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jazz-shower References: [homecrux](http://www.homecrux.com/2018/01/16/91833/vlad-mititelus-classy-trumpet-shower-impresses-jazz-lovers.html) & [vladmititelu](https://www.vladmititelu.com/product-page/j-a-z-z) The 'JAZZ' Shower has been created as part of the Art Shower Series by Vlad Mititelu and incorporates a musical aesthetic that will help to infuse a sense of wonder into a bathroom. Looking like a trumpet, the shower comes in three color options including gold, rose gold and copper, and is achieved through the use of thin wiring that has been adorned across the entire unit. This acknowledges growing consumer interest in fixtures for the home that hold more artistic merit rather than serving a utilitarian purpose. Speaking on the 'JAZZ' Shower, Mititelu explained that, "I found the inspiration for this project in an almost mystic moment while taking a bath and listening to jazz music
at the same time. I felt no difference between water and music. It was almost like I was floating on the sound of the trumpet that I was hearing." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 85% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Artistic Bathroom Fixtures:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating bathroom fixtures that prioritize artistic design and aesthetic appeal over utilitarian function. - **Musical-inspired Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing home decor items that incorporate musical elements to bring a sense of inspiration and wonder to everyday living spaces. - **Multisensory Experiences:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing products that combine different sensory elements, such as water and music, to create immersive and unique experiences. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Furnishings:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Rethinking traditional home furnishings to incorporate artistic and musical elements, transforming them into statement pieces. - **Bathroom Fixtures:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Redesigning bathroom fixtures to prioritize aesthetics, allowing them to become focal points in modern bathrooms. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrating musical and artistic elements into interior design concepts to create visually striking and experiential spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Instrument-Resembling Coffee Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trumpet-coffee.md) - [Demure Hand Shower Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bell-jar-shower-head.md) - [Bold Brass-Hued Bathroom Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/statement-showering-collection-by-kohler.md) - [Sharp Ultra-Slender Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-tubo.md) - [Sleek Self-Pleasure Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/womanizer-wave.md) - [Modular Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zucchetti-bar-59-shower.md) - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Triple-Aerator Outdoor Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ffqt-outdoor-shower.md) - [Colorful Hand Shower Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sproos-shower.md)
