The design is based on the Mexican god Quetzalcoatl and the structure located in the Naucalpan area. The condo is tucked away into the [natural surroundings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/las-rocas) that encapsulate the area. The 'Quetzalcoatl’s Nest' will have [ten different apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sinfornia-verde) and it will take up roughly 16,500 square-feet. Javier Senosiain's initial inspiration came from a cave that he felt looked exactly like a snake's mouth. The ability to take such an inspiration and conceptualize something at a much larger scope speaks of an immense amount of creativity. The condominium will be open to both visitors and residents as everyone will be allowed to walk along the twisting premises that make up the [sinuous building](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ferrocarril-de-cuernavaca-780). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 85% | Activity: 78% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Biophilic Architecture:** The snake-inspired design of 'Quetzalcoatl's Nest' showcases the growing trend of incorporating nature and natural forms into architectural designs. - **Distinctive Structures:** Unique and eye-catching architectural structures like 'Quetzalcoatl's Nest' are gaining popularity as a way to stand out in the competitive real estate market. - **Interactive Spaces:** The twisting premises of 'Quetzalcoatl's Nest' highlight the trend of creating interactive and engaging spaces that encourage exploration and interaction. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Real Estate:** The real estate industry can explore innovative and distinctive architectural designs, like the snake-inspired 'Quetzalcoatl's Nest,' to attract new buyers and investors. - **Architecture:** Architects can embrace biophilic designs, such as the snake-inspired structure of 'Quetzalcoatl's Nest,' to create unique and sustainable buildings that merge with their natural surroundings. - **Tourism and Hospitality:** The tourism and hospitality industry can capitalize on the trend of interactive spaces showcased by 'Quetzalcoatl's Nest,' creating memorable and immersive experiences for visitors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Futuristic Curved Islandic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-nest-2.md) - [Illuminated Cave-Like Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/javier-senosiain-arquitectos.md) - [Pyramid-Inspired Hotel Suites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kymaia-hotel.md) - [Vaulted Pink Complexes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/babel-housing-mexico.md) - [Greenery-Surrounding Lush Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nest-house-1.md) - [Jungle-Inspired Rental Operations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nico-sayulita.md) - [Castle-Inspired Cylindrical Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-del-tec.md) - [Geometric Cave-Like Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cavelike-homes.md) - [Nature-Inspired Hilltop Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/las-rocas.md)
