Schorr has put his idiosyncratic art-making style to the test by recreating the [cast of Sesame Street](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stranger-things-and-sesame-street) whilst categorizing them by color. Observing the creation ‘Muppet Spectrum,’ viewers are likely to overdose on nostalgia as they look at the familiar faces of Elmo, Oscar the Grouch, Count von Count, Bert, Ernie and Big Bird. Other famous Muppet creations like Kermit the Frog and Animal also make cameos. Jared Andrew Schorr crafts these [papercut illustrations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-curves) by layering pieces of colored paper on top of one another until full-fledged figures are made. It’s similar to how Adobe Illustrator works or even how the original South Park episode was made. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 23% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Papercut Artistry:** Embracing the art of papercut illustrations to create visually stunning designs. - **Color Categorization:** Organizing characters or elements by color for a visually appealing and cohesive aesthetic. - **Nostalgic Revival:** Creating nostalgia-inducing artwork that brings back childhood memories and invokes a sense of fondness. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Design:** Exploring new techniques and mediums to push the boundaries of artistic expression. - **Animation and Entertainment:** Applying innovative art styles and techniques to enhance storytelling and capture audience attention. - **Digital Design Software:** Developing software tools or applications that mimic traditional art-making processes to streamline digital design workflows. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stunning Origami Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-portaits.md) - [Personalized Puppet Video Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smashup-video-ecard.md) - [Trash-Centric Musical Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glad-x-sesame-street.md) - [Sculptural Paper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti.md) - [Candy-Like Colorful Glass Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gele-series.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Artful Collectible Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fisherprice-little-people-x-andre-saraiva.md) - [Folded Paper Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clara-von-zweibergk.md) - [3D-Printed Flip Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stl-sculptures.md)
