Kirker Greer Spirits created a Japanese gin brand with two unique expressions: Blossom Gin and [Ukiyo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ukiyo-spirits) Yuzu Gin. Crafted on Japan’s Kyushu Island, Ukiyo is a premium brand that makes the most of locally sourced grains that are distilled into [shōchū](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/58-and-co-shch), which is later infused with botanicals such as juniper, mandarin and spices. The products are packed into bottles with two-color designs that reference the mountains and oceans of Japan.

The 40% ABV gin spirit is already a hotly anticipated release, as it has already sold out on pre-order in multiple countries (the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Australia.)

Outside of the common [fruit-forward gin launches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mango-passionfruit-gin), these new expressions promise a unique experience with flavor and a aroma, plus a taste of a globally inspired gin that promises to stand on its own, and add interest to cocktails.
