Resembling giant diving boards that have been bent and folded by mythological titans, the Janus Chairs would provide enough room for entire [families to hang out](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immaterial-0001), and certainly would be a large enough spot for you to [sit down and read](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chapters-furniture) by the lake. Check out more pics of the Janus Chairs above. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.0/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Giant Furniture:** Designing and manufacturing giant-sized furniture pieces for outdoor and indoor public spaces - **Public Arts & Installation:** Incorporating art and installations into public spaces to create a unique environment and attract visitors - **Ecotourism:** Creating unique experiences for tourists that blend environmental awareness with outdoor recreation ### Where This Applies - **Outdoor Furniture:** Manufacturers of outdoor furniture can adopt the trend of producing giant-sized furniture pieces to cater to public spaces such as parks - **Public Space Design:** Integrating public art and creative installations into the design of public spaces offers a way to attract more people to the area and create a unique experience - **Tourism:** Creating outdoor activities that blend well with the environment will help promote ecotourism and create unique experiences for adventure-loving tourists ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dynamic Structural Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldont-chair.md) - [Childhood-Inspired Outdoor Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peace-outdoor-lounge.md) - [Naturalistic Public Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/life-ark-outdoor-seat.md) - [Stainless Steel Reflective Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dream-view-chair.md) - [Living Plant DIY Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/green-hideaway.md) - [Sizable Chair Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chair-installation.md) - [Deco-Inspired Chunky Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mt-curve-big-chair.md) - [Swivelling Marbled Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/landmark-project.md) - [Circular Modernist Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zerogravity-chair.md)
