It appears to glow subtly from a great many perspectives around it, yet it offers sufficiently direct downward beams to illuminate dining tables and the like. Marc Sadler chose [paper as the primary material](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farolito) for this delicate creation, treating it to a coating of polymer after curling the sheets loosely around the lighting track. The curving pieces seem to inflate towards the middle, producing the diaphanous effect of a fully [cloud that billows in the breeze](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightmass-2025-pendants). The lovely Jamaica Pendant Lamp would bring beauty and tranquility to just about any contemporary space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 5% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Cozy Lighting:** The trend of cocoon-like lighting fixtures that create a cozy and intimate atmosphere in indoor spaces. - **Soft Ray Lighting:** The trend of using soft rays of light to create a subtle and gentle glow in interior design. - **Paper as Lighting Material:** The trend of utilizing paper as the primary material for creating unique and delicate lighting fixtures. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can benefit from incorporating cocoon-like lighting fixtures to create a cozy and inviting ambiance for residential and commercial spaces. - **Lighting Manufacturing:** The lighting manufacturing industry has opportunities to explore innovative ways to use soft rays of light and paper as materials for creating unique and visually appealing lighting fixtures. - **Hospitality:** The hospitality industry can incorporate cocoon-like lighting fixtures to enhance the ambiance of hotel rooms, restaurants, and other hospitality spaces, offering guests a cozy and comfortable experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Curved Pendant Ceiling Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nova-light.md) - [Baked Good-Inspired Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croissant-pendant.md) - [Recycled Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zbozhzha-pendant-light.md) - [Exquisite Textured Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pendant-lamp1.md) - [Maximalist Arched Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oblure.md) - [Origami-Inspired Suspended Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sora-pendant-light.md) - [Encapsulated Semi-Transparent Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nested-pendant-light.md) - [Sustainable Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corka.md) - [Intricate Sculptural Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nova-pendant-light.md)
