I've heard of banana boats before, but Jacob Dahlstrup's 'Banana Schooner' is not what I envisioned. It's not at all like the beach resort version, which you can ride to your heart's content. Dahlstrup's banana boats are actually made from [real bananas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/banagua).

Including cute, [mini pirate vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/funamori-platter-set), Jacob Dahlstrup's work is currently being displayed at the Shoreditch Town Hall in London. I wonder how often he has to change the bananas before they become rotten!
