Like wet pebbles brought out from a the bottom of a peacefully placid stream, the spice shakers look like [perfectly smooth stones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crystal-sandsara) sitting happily in a small pool of dark, molten metal. This intriguing optical effect creates a visual experience for diners as they surround themselves with beautiful objects that are reminiscent of peaceful moments. The ample shapes of the i-Zen salt and pepper shakers fit comfortably in the hand and can be kept on display at all times, enhancing the environment with their [zen garden qualities](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zen-collection-1) and attractive, shimmering glow. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.6/10 - Popularity: 8% | Activity: 1% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Organic-shaped Spice Jars:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a line of spice jars with unique, organic shapes that enhance the visual experience for diners. - **Bold Metallic Hues:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a range of kitchen accessories with bold metallic colors to add a touch of luxury and elegance to dining environments. - **Zen Garden Qualities:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design home decor items that promote relaxation and create a zen-like atmosphere for a stress-free dining experience. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce new, visually pleasing home decor items that elevate the dining experience. - **Kitchen Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Pioneer the use of bold metallic hues in kitchen accessories to create eye-catching designs. - **Hospitality:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate zen garden qualities in hospitality settings to create calming and visually appealing dining spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [MSG Shaker Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shaker-sets.md) - [Contemporary Pepper Grinder Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zjddg.md) - [Refined Ritual Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gejst.md) - [Communal Tableware Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shaken.md) - [Miniature Tranquil Garden Playsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/metazen.md) - [Spherical Mortar & Pestles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spicy-mortar-and-pestle.md) - [Modern Sleek Diffuser Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/metal-aroma.md) - [Volcanic Rock Fidget Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zenlet-lava-ball.md) - [Hourglass-Shaped Kitchen Containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grains-of-time.md)
