The on-location workstation is designed especially for Apple MacBooks, and is characterized by a waterproof and shock-resistant casing created by Pelican. A foam inlay keeps the laptop snug, while a folding series of display shields will block out the sun in bright environments to keep the screen visible. The iWorkCase is priced at $650 and also offers an aluminum tripod coupling system, a locking mechanism for enhanced security and a durable carrying strap. The interior of the case provides just the right amount of storage space for power banks, hard drives and other small technology essentials. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 75% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/computers) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Mobile Laptop Workstations:** Opportunity for creating innovative, portable workstations tailored to specific professions on-the-go. - **Waterproof and Shock-resistant Casings:** Opportunity for developing durable and protective casings for electronic devices, ensuring functionality in challenging environments. - **Sunlight-blocking Display Shields:** Opportunity for designing accessories that enhance screen visibility in bright settings, improving user experience outdoors. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography and Videography:** Opportunity for creating specialized equipment and accessories to meet the unique needs of field photographers and videographers. - **Consumer Electronics:** Opportunity for developing rugged and protective cases, ensuring device functionality in various conditions. - **Outdoor Recreation:** Opportunity for providing innovative gear and accessories that enhance the outdoor experience for professional users. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Workstation-Equipped Laptop Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/workpod-mobile-office.md) - [Laptop-Stowing Portable Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lapcase.md) - [Impact-Resistant Laptop Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/impactresistant-laptop-case.md) - [Suitcase-Style Monitor Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/base-case.md) - [Briefcase-Style Tablet Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pitaka-flipbook-case.md) - [Portable Desktop Workstation Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neo-box.md) - [All-in-One Laptop Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logitech-casa-popup-desk.md) - [Briefcase-Compact Office Set-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-office-1.md) - [Compact Workstation Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-workstation-laptop.md)
