The device functions as a magnetic charging cable that will collapse down to the perfect size when in use or when stowed away. The unit has a power bank functionality that will deliver charging capability when not plugged into a power source for enhanced ease of use, while auto-recharging will passively power the battery back up when plugged in. The 'IVYCable' will put an end to cluttered charging cables and speaks to the increased need for technology products that are focused on active lifestyles as consumers begin to resume their post-pandemic schedule. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 85% | Activity: 84% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Magnetic Charging Cables:** The integration of magnetic technology in charging cables opens up opportunities for more intuitive and user-friendly charging experiences. - **Self-folding Technology:** Self-folding technology in cables can revolutionize the way cables are managed and stored, providing more convenience to users. - **Combination of Cable and Battery Technology:** The combination of cable and battery technology in one device can provide a more seamless and efficient charging experience for users. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Consumer Electronics:** Consumer electronics manufacturers can integrate magnetic and self-folding technologies in their products to offer better user experience and more convenience. - **Mobile Accessories:** Mobile accessory companies can create innovative products that combine cable and battery technologies to meet the growing demand for smarter and more efficient charging options. - **Portable Power Banks:** Companies can explore the integration of self-folding technology in power banks to provide users with more compact and user-friendly portable charging options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multifunctional Charging Cable Banks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ivycable-gen2.md) - [Magnetic Charging Cables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-magcable.md) - [Multipurpose Magnetic Cables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/supercalla-cable.md) - [Magnetic Charging Innovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/connect-pro-cable.md) - [Collapsible Three-in-One Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-magnetic-charger.md) - [Magnetic Technology Charging Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnilink-360-pro.md) - [Folding Multi-Position Charger Cables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/keychain-charger-cable.md) - [15-in-One Technology Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cabless-charging-cable.md) - [Foldable Magnetic Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hinyx.md)
