# Adorable Enveloped Rockers Ivetta Rocking Chair Embraces You with its Beautiful Bundled Upholstery By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-11-12 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ivetta-rocking-chair References: [formabilio](https://www.formabilio.com/shop/design-chairs/chairs/ivetta-rocking) You will not get the stereotypical rocker in the Ivetta Rocking Chair, or the usual stationary seating object either. It's crisp and modern and very much unlike the swaying lounger at grandma's house, plus it has a lovely covering that's probably dissimilar to what you might have seen in furnishings before. Designed by Giancarlo Cutello and sold through Formabilio of Italy, this utterly endearing item is made of a beautiful painted pale wood to form a basic but charming frame. On top of this, a [felt material covers the seat cushion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/press-armchair) and wraps around the backrest and the [armrests like a cozy jacket](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perron-pillo-lounge-chair) or shrug. Timber pegs hold the soft fabric in place to complete the overall adorable Ivetta Rocking Chair. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Cozy Rocking Chairs:** Innovative felt coverings and comfortable designs are creating new opportunities to disrupt the home furniture industry with cozy rocking chairs. - **Modern Rocking Chair Designs:** Sleek, innovative rocking chair designs are emerging in the home furniture market, offering opportunities for disruption and differentiation. - **Alternative Materials for Chairs:** New materials for chair coverings, like felt, are transforming the home furniture industry and creating opportunities for brands to differentiate their products. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture manufacturers can capitalize on the trend toward cozy, modern rocking chairs with innovative designs and materials. - **Home Decor Retail:** Home decor retailers can differentiate their product offerings and tap into the demand for modern, cozy rocking chairs with unique designs and materials. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate cozy, modern rocking chairs into their designs to add comfort and style to homes and commercial spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modernized Rocking Chair Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nodding-chair.md) - [Contemporary Rocking Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/penguin-rocking-chair.md) - [Otherworldly Themed Rocking Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ufo-rocking.md) - [Dynamic Movement Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wobbl-rocking-chair.md) - [Geometric Rocking Chair Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oval-rocking-chair.md) - [Cozy Flower-Like Armchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beba-armchair.md) - [Sculptural Cocooned Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/introvert-chair.md) - [Curvaceous Ribbon-Like Armchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qeeboo-ribbon-armchair.md) - [Wooden Lounge Rocking Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nice-chair.md)
