Its glass-enclosed spaces and abundant organic materials provide a cozy vibe despite the minimalist aesthetics. The home owners enjoy entertaining guests, thus wide-open areas were crucial to accommodate numerous visitors and shifting traffic. Everything from a movie screening room to a breath-taking patio have been integrated into the party-ready residence. One of the most distinctive features is the [wall-climbing greenery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-c) that is physically growing within the home's interior. Immense [museum-like display cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/galeria-house) were created around these plants to preserve their beauty. The trees bestow not only aesthetic value, but also help maintain comfortable temperatures in the [tropical climate](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ocean-eye). The Isay Weinfeld 'Casa Grecia' in Sao Paulo is a picturesque modern home with a remarkable indoor eco-system. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 78% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: South America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Greenery-infused Interiors:** There is an opportunity to develop new sustainable building materials to incorporate vertical gardens and indoor greenery in architecture and interior design. - **Indoor Eco-system:** There is potential for innovation in developing automated indoor irrigation systems and utilizing natural plants to create efficient microclimates in homes and buildings. - **Minimalist Aesthetics:** There is an opportunity to create new minimalist design trends that incorporate natural materials and minimalist aesthetics to create eco-friendly and functional living spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** Architects can utilize sustainable and innovative materials and technologies to create eco-friendly, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing buildings and living spaces. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate greenery and natural materials into their designs to create a cozy and eco-friendly living environment for their clients. - **Home Automation:** Companies that specialize in home automation could develop new technologies to efficiently manage indoor eco-systems and further integrate natural elements into homes and buildings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Discreet Modern Brazil Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jf-residence.md) - [Nature-Leveraging Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-caoba.md) - [Landscape-Integrated Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-by-the-grove.md) - [Skylit Belgian Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/he-winter-garden.md) - [Curved Garden-Surrounding Linear Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-dos-terraos-circulares.md) - [Planted Balcony Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-greens.md) - [Plant-Covered Concrete Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-kd45.md) - [Vaulted Glass Roofed Greenhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-de-vidrio.md) - [Plant-Filled Latticed Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touching-eden-house.md)
