Taking the common phrase "fighting fire with fire" quite literally, Montreal-based artist Isabelle Hayeur brings awareness to a debilitated area in Vancouver, British Columbia. With strategically placed [video projections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumino1), she created a rather realistic illusion of a fire in a run-down heritage building on West Hastings.

A powerful art installation, Isabelle Hayeur's work also recalls the great Vancouver fire in 1886. Be sure to watch the looped 15 minute video of the [Fire With Fire](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/markesan-fire-department) art installation featured here.
