The Isabeli Fontana Vogue Spain editorial avoids the Western cliche by adding a Spanish flair. It centers around a beautiful bandida rather than a cowgirl, and is decidedly more sexy for it. Instead of concentrating fully on the masculine side of this look, which revolves around weaponry and practical accessories, this photo shoot also showcases some very feminine pieces. From lace to corsets and floral prints, this editorial has it all.
Lensed by photographer Alexi Lubormirski for the magazine's February 2012 issue, the Isabeli Fontana Vogue Spain cover shoot takes place in a dilapidated setting, which exponentially increases the grittiness of the editorial. Fontana was styled by Belén Antolín, who excitingly used various patterns, textures and colors to create eclectic looks that nevertheless adheres to the overall theme.
