The iRoom iDock isn't an accessory specifically fixed for the room per say, it's really more for wherever you want it mounted on. It's essentially a dock that gets fixed onto a wall; so the person is basically giving the home a bit of a technological decor. There's a mini tray fitted for the iPad that automatically opens and closes. Of course, this also functions as a charger so that the tablet remains with full battery power at all times. The iRoom iDock is available in both landscape and portrait viewing models. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 44% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Wall-mounted Tablet Docks:** The trend of wall-mounted tablet docks allows for a seamless integration of technology into home decor. - **Smart Home Integration:** The integration of wall-mounted tablet docks suggests a growing trend towards smart home technology. - **Innovative Charging Solutions:** The iRoom iDock's automatic opening and closing tray offers an opportunity for further development of innovative charging solutions. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** Wall-mounted tablet docks offer an innovative and functional product for the home decor industry to capitalize on. - **Electronics:** The iRoom iDock presents a unique product for the electronics industry to explore in terms of further integration and accessory development. - **Smart Home:** The trend of wall-mounted tablet docks signals the growth potential of the smart home industry and its associated technologies. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Outlet-Mounted Device Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tech-charger-dock.md) - [Sleek Tablet-Transforming Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elago-magnetic-stand-for-ipad.md) - [Stand-Attached Smart Tablets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixel-tablet.md) - [Floating Monitor-Mounted Tech Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/line-linestand.md) - [Verstaile Tablet Docking Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maghub-3.md) - [Mountable Handsfree Tablet Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halo-for-ipad.md) - [Illuminated Tech Dock Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nanoleaf-pegboard-desk-dock.md) - [Decorative Data-Rich Smart Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-digital-frame.md) - [Mobile Device Docking Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/usbc-stand-dock.md)
