# Ironman Ironing Board By Pocket | Published 2006-12-21 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ironman-ironing-board References: [laundrycompany](http://www.laundrycompany.co.uk/ironman.htm) Not to be mistaken for the Marvel Comics [Ironman](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iron-man-bust-forget-the-beethoven-put-one-of-these-on-your-shelf) or a big muscley dude in budgie smugglers, this Ironman ironing board is just the thing against mankind's struggle against creased clothes. Did I say mankind? That's right, cos this sucker is manly enough that even dudes are gonna enjoy ironing.. well sort of. Broad shoulders for quick and easy ironing, individual legs for your trousers and a handy hole-in-the-head for your iron cord. Also available are a [variety of custom ironman covers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/super-heroes-vs-villains), from plain colours to stars and stripes. (I opted for plain black.. cos.. I like black!!) You can buy them from a variety of places- I bought mine at a local gift shop called Unit Concepts for $99.00AUS and covers for $30.00AUS. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 38% | Activity: 44% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Ironing Board Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for companies to create custom ironing board covers with unique designs and features. - **Gender-inclusive Ironing Products:** Opportunity for companies to develop ironing boards and accessories that cater to both men and women, challenging traditional gender norms. - **Efficient Ironing Solutions:** Opportunity for companies to design ironing boards with innovative features like broad shoulders and individual legs to make ironing quicker and easier. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Appliance:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for home appliance companies to create advanced ironing boards with enhanced functionality and design. - **E-commerce:** Opportunity for online retailers to offer a wide range of ironing board accessories, appealing to customers looking for personalized and unique products. - **Fashion and Apparel:** Opportunity for fashion and apparel companies to collaborate with ironing board manufacturers to create branded covers and promote their products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Branded Superhero Gaming Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noblechairs-hero-iron-man-chair.md) - [Space-Saving Garment Care Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-dualfunction-ironing-board-mirror.md) - [Fully Automated Ironing Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fully-automated-ironing-system.md) - [Ergonomically Advanced Clothing Irons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/advanced-steam-iron.md) - [Folding Garment Care Caddies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joseph-joseph-pocket-plus.md) - [Pressurized Steam-Equipped Clothing Irons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pressurized-steamequipped-clothing-iron.md) - [Washable Superhero Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superhero-rugs.md) - [Dual-Fucntional Steam Iron Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/darimeven.md) - [Oversized Superhero Statue Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-iron-man-hulkbuster.md)
