In fact, the cake channels exactly the aura and majesty created by the real Iron Throne back in Westeros. Made up of [chocolate, vanilla and strawberry cake](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cake) along with beautifully sculpted fondant, the Iron Throne cake is truly a sight to behold. Its structure actually looks as if it were made out of iron rather than soft baking materials. The cake looks like it could seat a noble king on its vast fondant seat. The Iron Throne cake even features a [golden crown](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thc-infused-king-cake) placed in the middle of the seat and created entirely from fondant and baking chocolate. How The Cake Geek managed to pull this off will remain a mystery but the cake's obvious deliciousness won't surprise anyone. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 49% | Activity: 77% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Realistic Fantasy Cakes:** Opportunity to create more realistic and intricate cakes inspired by fantasy themes like Game of Thrones. - **Sculpted Fondant Designs:** Opportunity to explore the art of sculpting and designing with fondant to create visually stunning cakes. - **Edible Decorations:** Opportunity to use edible materials like baking chocolate and fondant to create intricate and detailed cake decorations. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Bakery and Pastry:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in the bakery and pastry industry to create unique and elaborate fantasy-themed cakes. - **Event Planning:** Opportunity for event planners to offer themed cakes as part of their services, catering to clients who want unique and memorable desserts. - **Entertainment and Media:** Opportunity for entertainment and media companies to collaborate with cake artists to create promotional cakes inspired by popular TV shows, movies, or books. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Exquisite AI-Designed Thrones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/throne-design.md) - [Fantasy Series-Inspired Pizzas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dragon-flame-pizza.md) - [Fantasy-Inspired Soap Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dr-squatch-1.md) - [Fantastical Edition Phones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/15-pro-game-of-thrones.md) - [Cardboard-Resembling Illusion Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cardboard-cake.md) - [Luxe King-Honoring Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coronation-cake.md) - [Elegant Cake Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flourless-dark-chocolate.md) - [Dual-Flavor Movie-Inspired Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wicked-celebration-cake.md) - [Balloon Dog Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balloon-dog-cake.md)
