This contest features Marquese Scoott, a well known [YouTube](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hmnd-01) sensation, in robotic dancing. His pops, locks and waves have earned him a high amount of recognition on the web and his efforts have now translated into promotion for this campaign. The Roomba is a flat disc-like device that cleans the home while owners can continue with their everyday routines. Dancers don't have to worry about dusting corners as the Roomba will take care of it and this campaign does well to attack a growing trend of dance in its target market. Using a robotic theme, the campaign says that since more robots are taking over household chores, people can now spend more time learning how to move like them. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 8% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Viral](https://www.trendhunter.com/viral) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Robotic Dance:** There are opportunities for disruptive innovation in creating AI-powered dance instructors and virtual reality dance competitions. - **Smart Home Cleaning:** Disruptive innovation opportunities include developing advanced robotic cleaners that can perform complex cleaning tasks and integrating them with smart home systems. - **Promotional Campaigns:** Disruptive innovation opportunities lie in leveraging popular influencers and social media platforms to create engaging promotional campaigns that target specific niche interests. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Consumer Electronics:** Opportunities for disruptive innovation include the development of advanced robotic cleaning devices and smart home technologies. - **Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunities include incorporating AI-powered dance instructors and virtual reality dance competitions to enhance the entertainment experience. - **Marketing and Advertising:** There are opportunities for disruptive innovation in utilizing popular influencers and social media platforms to create targeted and engaging promotional campaigns. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sleek Glass-Shell Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-romo-robot.md) - [Debris-Compacting Robot Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roomba-205-dustcompactor-combo-robot.md) - [Robotic Vacuum Range Updates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/irobots-new-robovacs.md) - [Automated Low-Maintenance Robot Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roomba-combo-j9.md) - [Advanced 2-in-1 Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2in1-roomba.md) - [Swappable Component Robot Cleaners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/irobot-roomba-combo.md) - [Automated Coverage Robot Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roomba-max-705-combo.md) - [Automatic Maintenance Robot Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roomba-combo-10-max.md) - [Arm-Equipped Robotic Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roborock-saros-z70.md)
