The collection is comprised of captivating dining tables, side tables, and coffee tables. All of these are finished with [printed glass table surfaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/illusion-collection) which are inspired by the look of sunsets and sunrises. The light reflective throughout the world during these times is perfectly captivated by fusing the colors together. There are 12 tables in total -- all of which are fused with ceramic pigments. The designer shares, “It is a type of experimental work with natural light and the refraction it creates when photographed with a phone. Through this, I obtain infinite nuances of color and varied compositions depending on the exact moment when I capture the light, among many other factors.” Image Credit: Alejandra Giandia-Blasco, GANDIABLACO ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 5% | Activity: 2% | Freshness: 30% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Sunset-print Aesthetics:** The Iris collection embraces sunset-print aesthetics, creating a new frontier in home decor through surfaces that reflect the colors and nuances of natural light. - **Functional Art Furniture:** Furniture pieces that serve both as functional items and as artistic expressions are gaining traction, merging practicality with visual appeal. - **Photographic Light Refraction:** Utilizing natural light refraction to create unique, visually stunning designs introduces an innovative approach to capturing and incorporating nature in everyday objects. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can leverage innovative aesthetic trends like sunset-print glass surfaces to offer consumers products that transform living spaces with a touch of nature. - **Outdoor Furniture:** Outdoor furniture brands like GANDIABLACO can lead the way in integrating visually captivating, nature-inspired elements that resonate with eco-conscious consumers. - **Photographic Art Furniture:** A burgeoning sector combining photographic art and functional materials is emerging, creating opportunities for pieces that double as artistic installations and practical furniture. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Optical-Illusion Home Decor Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sevval-kalaycikli.md) - [Acrylic Multicolor Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lucid-side-tables.md) - [Frosted Light Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zen-collection-1.md) - [Simplistic Glass Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/simoon-collection.md) - [Structural Blown Glass Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lokum-collection.md) - [Colorful Modern Glass Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soda-side-table.md) - [Glass Geometry Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-collection.md) - [Chic Sustainable Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oceanides-table-collection.md) - [Light-Manipulating Tableware Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iitala.md)
