The Analog Tele-Phonographer is the official title of the device that mixes brass sensibilities with excellent sound quality. I'd more likely call it the Trumpet iPhone Speaker Amplifier. One version of the iPhone speaker is created by Christopher Lock of HeartlessMachine, and a slightly more recent version was put together by Vinnie Veen. What's really interesting about the iPhone speakers is that both versions use no electricity whatsoever. It's just simple physics and analog technology taking the sound from the iPhone itself and channeling it through the horn. Basically, they're just [repurposed trumpets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trumpet-coffee) that have been cleverly attached with a cradle to hold the iPhone. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 10% | Activity: 29% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Brass Smartphone Amplifiers:** Opportunity for creating innovative smartphone amplifiers by repurposing traditional brass instruments for enhanced sound quality. - **Analog Technology:** The use of analog technology in smartphone speakers presents a disruptive opportunity for creating eco-friendly and electricity-free amplification solutions. - **Creative Design:** The integration of clever and unique designs in smartphone speakers can differentiate products in a saturated market. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Music Technology:** The music technology industry can explore opportunities to enhance smartphone audio experience by integrating traditional instruments in speaker designs. - **Consumer Electronics:** Consumer electronics companies can capitalize on the trend of innovative smartphone amplifiers by incorporating creative and eco-friendly design principles. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can leverage the unique aesthetic appeal of brass smartphone amplifiers to offer stylish and functional speaker options for customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Magnetic Smartphone Audio Amplifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hires-headphone-amplifier.md) - [Transparent Gramophone-Like Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-speaker-concept.md) - [Freestanding Smartphone Dock Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jteman-phone-stand-and-speaker.md) - [Speaker-Centric Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/music-phone.md) - [Compact Phone Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thinn.md) - [Phone Charger-Infused Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phone-chargerinfused-speaker.md) - [Headphone-Holding Speaker Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cornucopia-speaker.md) - [Amp-Inspired Bluetooth Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-bluetooth-speaker.md) - [Edgy Speaker Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brutalist-speaker.md)
