Although it might look like a daunting piece of technology with all of its different lenses, this smartphone accessory is actually quite simple. It is basically an iPhone case with a [rotating lens attachment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/martvsen-magstack) that provides different photography looks when used. Brought to the masses by Photojojo, the iPhone Lens Dial definitely feeds on the age of [Instagram](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/belkin-autotracking-stand-pro), Lomography and other vintage photo effects that people are flocking to of late. It sports three kinds of lenses (Wide Angle, Fisheye and Telephoto), taking the iPhone camera capabilities to a whole new level. The iPhone Lens Dial is even equipped with two tripod mounts. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 97% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Rotating Smartphone Accessories:** Opportunity to create more iPhone rotating accessories with different functionalities. - **Enhanced Mobile Photography:** Opportunity to develop more smartphone lens attachments for enhanced mobile photography. - **Vintage-inspired Tech Accessories:** Opportunity to create tech accessories with vintage elements and design. ### Where This Applies - **Mobile Technology:** The Mobile Technology industry can innovate rotating smartphone technology and develop more smartphone accessories. - **Photography:** The Photography industry can create and market mobile photo accessories and other photography technologies for smartphones. - **Consumer Electronics:** Consumer Electronics industry can produce novel accessories for smartphones, including ones that offer enhanced photography, features and vintage elements. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pro-Grade Smartphone Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switchlens.md) - [Space-Saving Smartphone Lenses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiftcam-lensultra.md) - [Pro-Approved Smartphone Lenses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moment-tseries-mobile-lenses.md) - [Photographer-Grade Smartphone Lenses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiftcam-lensultra-explorer-series.md) - [Detachable Mobile Camera Lenses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-camera-lens.md) - [Hyper-Zoom Smartphone Lenses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandmarc-telephoto-tetraprism.md) - [Elongated Smartphone Photography Lenses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandmarc-probe-lens.md) - [Magnetic Smartphone Photography Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiftcam-snapgrip.md) - [Cinematic Aftermarket Smartphone Lenses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandmarc-anamorphic-lens-edition.md)
