There are many [sleek docks to hold your iPhone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phone-sleep) and this inventive form plays with old and new forms. Although this type of alarm clock design has disappeared due to the convenience of using do-it-all phones used as alarm clocks, this jarring way to wake up has made a resurgence in this design. The simple wireframe dock has two bells like you'd see on a [round vintage alarm clock](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a158w). Though Lloyd has cleverly taken advantage of use of a phone's ability to vibrate to activate this alarm. This iPhone alarm dock might not be the most pleasant way to wake up in the morning, but it will sure be effective. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 72% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Nostalgic Phone Alarm Docks:** Creating alarm docks that mimic the vintage form of alarm clocks for a nostalgic touch. - **Reinventing Old Forms:** Updating old forms, like alarm clocks, for the digital age. - **Resurgence of Vintage Alarm Clocks:** Seeing a renewed interest in vintage alarm clocks as a jarring and effective way to wake up. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Electronics:** Opportunity to create unique alarm docks that combine retro design with modern technology. - **Home Decor:** Creating alarm docks that double as stylish home decor items. - **Consumer Electronics:** Designing innovative alarm clocks that target consumers seeking a blend of vintage aesthetics and modern functionality. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Digital Personality Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alarm-oclock.md) - [Modernized Vintage-Inspired Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roberts-ortus-5.md) - [Connected Toy-Like Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cubb-alarm-clock.md) - [Distraction-Free Alarm Clock Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ahmed-rashad.md) - [Rainbow Illumination Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alarm-clock-concept.md) - [Desktop Display Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minitoo-retro-pc-style.md) - [Gentle Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-alarm-clock.md) - [Anti-Smartphone Bedside Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mudita-clocks.md) - [Minimal Charging Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desk-clock-1.md)
