Now you can turn your audio jack into a fully working laser pointer in a matter of seconds. There isn't much an iPhone can't already do. It can stream movies, send video messages, take selfies, be used as a map, play games and even help you track your fitness. Now you can turn your iPhone into a laser pointer simply by clipping the iPin into the iPhone audio jack. This turns your audio jack into a beaming line of red light that is completely powered by your iPhone's battery. The pointer would be a great tool to have during project presentations. You even have the option to turn the laser pointer on and off when you no longer need to use it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.2/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 88% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Smartphone Laser Pointers:** The rise of smartphone accessories that add function and convenience could lead to more laser pointer add-ons. - **Multi-functional Smartphone Accessories:** Expanding the capabilities of a smartphone beyond its original functions presents opportunities for a new layer of convenience-oriented products. - **Wireless Laser Presenters:** As technology advances, the use of wireless laser presenters may replace traditional wired devices. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Mobile Accessories:** The mobile accessories industry has an opportunity to capitalize on smartphone users' desire for more versatile and convenient functionalities. - **Presentation Technology:** As presentation technology progresses, the use of laser pointers and other technological advancements could become more widespread and user-friendly. - **Consumer Electronics:** Innovative, add-on devices for consumer electronics, such as the iPin, constantly present opportunities for disruption in the industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wireless Smartphone Flashlight Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumicard.md) - [Phone-Casting Portable Projector](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinebeam.md) - [Tiny Animated Laser Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laserabc-laser-show-projector.md) - [Illuminating Magnetic Smartphone Batteries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonside-maglight.md) - [Business Professional Presentation Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pico-projector-concept.md) - [Drill-Guiding Laser Attachments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laser-attachment.md) - [Mobile Magnification Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macroscope-2.md) - [Connective Miniature Media Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pico-t1.md) - [Pocket-Sized Laser Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wemax-go.md)
