# Colorful Upcoming Smartphone Mockups Designer Martin Hajek Unveils His iPhone 5S Concept Mockups By Andrew Sztein | Published 2013-03-19 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-5s-concept References: [mashable](http://mashable.com/2013/03/19/budget-iphone-concepts) & [iphoneclub.nl](http://www.iphoneclub.nl/241209/de-budget-iphone-volgens-iculture/) The upcoming iPhone 5S is about as well a kept secret as the fact that human beings landed on the moon in the 60s; with anticipation building to a deafening crescendo for the upcoming smartphone, designer Martin Hajak has unveiled his personal iPhone 5S concept mockups. The results are impressive to say the least, even if they're not officially from [Apple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-16-pro-concept). The latest iPhone 5S rumors are that Apple will be releasing a mini version of their incredibly popular device as well as finally giving customers a choice of colors. Hajak's iPhone 5S concept models take into account the idea that Apple will also be releasing a more budget-conscious version of the iPhone utilizing cheaper materials. While we're playing fantasy with these iPhone 5S concept mockups, Hajak also included 4 and 4.5-inch versions of the phones. Personally, I think that the blue and red models that he came up with are pretty cool within the classic iPhone design. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 50% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Colorful Smartphone Designs:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce a range of vibrant color options for smartphone designs to appeal to fashion-conscious consumers. - **Mini Versions of Popular Devices:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop mini versions of popular smartphones and tablets to cater to the growing demand for compact and portable devices. - **Budget-friendly Smartphone Options:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create budget-friendly smartphones using more affordable materials to make high-quality devices accessible to a wider range of consumers. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Mobile Phone Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the production of customizable smartphones with a wide variety of color options to cater to individual consumer preferences and style. - **Consumer Electronics Retail:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Offer a range of affordable mini smartphones and tablets targeted at consumers seeking compact, portable devices with advanced functionality. - **Materials Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop cost-effective materials that maintain the quality of high-end smartphones, enabling the production of budget-friendly devices without compromising performance. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ultra-Sleek Smartphone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-16-pro-concept.md) - [High-End Rugged Smartphone Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-ultra-concept.md) - [Dual-Display Smartphone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-vision.md) - [Co-Branded Smartphone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-x-galaxy.md) - [Immersive Titanium Smartphone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-14-ultra-concept.md) - [Sculpted Designer Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-15-pro-max-concept.md) - [Ultra-Slim Folding Smartphone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-air-concept.md) - [Color-Infused Glass Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-15.md) - [Pocket Computer Smartphone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-16s-concept.md)
