Into The Frame is a unique kind of [art exhibit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sensory-museum). This particular exhibit lets users interact with the art and experience visual art sonically as well as physically. Into the Frame brings the art to the viewer in a multitude of ways.

Researchers at Middlesex University created the exhibit as both a display of art and an experiment. The exhibit is operated through a rotating pen on a ball type device that allows users to design much of the exhibit themselves.

The textures in the painting are customized based on the resistance given through the pen. After that, a [3D sound interface](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychoacoustic-light-ensemble) kicks in and adds the sound element to it. An example is that a user will hear a splash if they 'touch' the water. This exhibit shows that art can be infinitely more interesting with an [interactive element](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phenomena-abu-dhabi).
