They mimic real life intestines with [timber on a large scale](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1) -- so large in fact, that people are able to enter and explore throughout. It's really quite a feat that Henrique was able to construct these pieces with wood, especially considering the subjects are curvaceous organic forms. Each structure is put together with multiple pieces of [random wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lost-cloth-object). Henrique has situated each interactive installation in a different location which adds a large value of interest. It would certainly be intriguing to come across one of these pieces when going about your everyday business. They would almost create a childlike wonder and curiosity to look at and explore. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Live Arts](https://www.trendhunter.com/livearts) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Immersive Organic Installations:** Creating interactive installations that mimic organic forms to provide viewers with an immersive experience. - **Large-scale Timber Works:** Utilizing unconventional mediums like multiple pieces of random wood to construct larger than life art installations. - **Site-specific Art Installations:** Creating structures that are situated in different locations to enhance the art viewing experience. ### Where This Applies - **Art:** Adopting unconventional mediums and formats to create immersive art installations that engage viewers. - **Interior Design:** Incorporating large-scale installations and organic forms into interior design spaces to provide a unique and immersive experience for customers. - **Tourism:** Creating site-specific installations in tourist areas to attract visitors and offer a unique visual and interactive experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nature-Inspired Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/humannature-1.md) - [Inflatable Vibrant Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-dancer.md) - [Blooming Clustered Art Forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/structural-botany.md) - [Thought-Provoking Interactive Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antibodies-installation.md) - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Mangrove Forest-Inspired Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/once-upon-a-forest.md) - [Textile Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/olga-de-amaral.md) - [Breathtaking Woven Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woven-installation.md)
