The flower pot works by incorporating a sensor in the base that will detect your touch in order to ensure that you interact with your plants each day. The unit also incorporates a speaker to let you play your favorite tunes directly from your smartphone to keep your plants healthy. The TOKQI 'Plant La La' Interactive Flower Pot also features a scupper that will enable excess water to flow through it to ensure plants are never overwatered. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 52% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Interactive Plant Pots:** The technology can be applied to create smart pots for indoor plants. - **Touch-enabled Gardening:** Touch-enabled gardening tools can help users experience a deeper connection with nature. - **Smartphone-controlled Plant Care:** App-controlled plant pots can make plant care more accessible and convenient for busy professionals. ### Where This Applies - **Home Gardening:** The Touch-Encouraging Plant Pots can revolutionize the way people care for their indoor plants at home. - **Smart Home Devices:** Smart home device manufacturers can incorporate plant pots with sensors and speakers into their product lines. - **Agriculture Technology:** The technology can be scaled up to create advanced plant monitoring systems for commercial agriculture. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Digital Interaction Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planta-planter.md) - [Dementia Support Smart Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-smart-planter.md) - [Indoor Greenery Monitors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-plant-sensor.md) - [AI-Powered Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leafypod.md) - [Climate-Controlled Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-flower-system.md) - [Self-Watering Smart Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-leafypod.md) - [Self-Watering Plant Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vivo-pot.md) - [Smart Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tendril-1.md) - [AI-Driven Plant Sensors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flora-pod.md)
