Nestlé is famous around the world for its [chocolate and sweet snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nestl-confectionery), and now one of its plants located in Switzerland is opening up to the public with an [interactive factory experience](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kelloggs-town). Consumers can visit the space to learn about the products, the process of making them and the brand history in a set up that is similar to a museum. The factory offers a transparent invitation for consumers to see the behind-the-scenes of the company.

The factory use to be the brand's first office and bakery and is now fully transformed by Concept Consult Architects into a museum. The site showcases historical products created by the brand as well as prototypes and virtual reality experiences.

Interactive factories are one way brands can create a transparent relationship between consumers and companies by allowing consumers to see how the products they enjoy are made without any hesitation.
