Thanks to a cutting-edge partnership with engagement platform TimePlay, the 2019 Future Festival World Summit took the concept of interactive conference content to new heights.
TimePlay’s platform enables event audiences to use their mobile devices as controllers and engage with content on secondary screens. Given Future Festival’s focus on curating immersive, hands-on learning experiences, TimePlay’s technology was a natural fit. The TimePlay team collaborated with Trend Hunter’s Futurists--keynote speakers at the 3-day event--to gamify their presentation content with custom questions and video clips.
In addition to leveraging their platform to socialize learnings and increase information retention from keynotes, TimePlay also hosted a Trend Safari--a signature element of Future Festival that takes attendees out of the conference space to learn about Toronto’s most innovative businesses firsthand. The session walked attendees through how TimePlay can help solve a variety of business problems, and was completely interactive from start to finish thanks to their technology.
