As cat owners know, the animals have a rough tongue that feels just like sandpaper -- making for a weird sensation that sends shivers up your spine. The Licki Brush helps you to reciprocate this feeling to your cat, by allowing you to lick them back yourself. The product forms a giant bristled prosthetic tongue to your own, allowing you to coddle your cat without having to cough up hairballs later on. The Licki Brush is without a doubt strange but for those serious cat lovers out there, the interactive cat toys could be the next greatest thing. Further details will be made available for the Licki Brush when it launches on [Kickstarter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/litterbot-pro). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Interactive Pet Accessories:** The trend of interactive pet accessories is gaining popularity with products like 'Licki Brush' that lets you interact with your cat on a whole different level. - **Human-animal Bonding:** Products like the 'Licki Brush' are part of a trend that seeks to promote human-animal bonding in innovative and unique ways. - **Unconventional Pet Care:** The 'Licki Brush' is an example of unconventional pet care products that challenge traditional notions of pet care and pet-owner relationships. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Pet Care Industry:** The pet care industry can explore opportunities for innovation in pet accessories by identifying and catering to the needs of pet owners who seek unique ways to bond with their pets. - **Crowdfunding Industry:** The 'Licki Brush' will be launched on Kickstarter, highlighting the role that crowdfunding platforms play in allowing innovative and unconventional products to come to life. - **E-commerce Industry:** E-commerce platforms can leverage the trend of interactive pet accessories by providing a dedicated space for niche pet products like the 'Licki Brush'. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Automated Mounted Cat Brushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automatic-cat-brush.md) - [Purring Pet Care Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-toothbrush.md) - [Autonomous Cat-Grooming Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pawswing-purrring.md) - [Automated Grooming Cat Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pawswing-neo.md) - [Lickable Wet Cat Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smalls-licks.md) - [Multi-Mode Smart Cat Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheerble-wicked-ball-m3.md) - [Smart Cat Shelters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-pawswing-neo.md) - [Smart Cat Grooming Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-grooming-pod.md) - [Pet-Friendly Meat Pops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bonkers-purrpops.md)
