It takes on a skeletal [triangular shape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/triangle-hanger) that allows it to be nestled comfortably into a corner. This design keeps the power strip in a safe place ensuring owners will not inadvertently trip over a stray cord. Designed by Herald J. Urena-Umana, the Intelligent Power Strip conveniently eliminates any [clutter due to its shape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cable-managements) and the number of plugs that can be used with the design. Although just a concept at the moment, it would be interesting to see the Intelligent Power Strip in action. This clever design is a great way to keep all your gadgets powered, while keeping your home safe and free of mess. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.5/10 - Popularity: 5% | Activity: 2% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Triangular Power Bars:** Redesigning power bars in triangular shapes to conveniently eliminate clutter. - **Intelligent Power Strips:** Innovative and safe power strips with designs that help prevent accidents and promote clutter-free spaces. - **Smart Home Power Management:** Integrating intelligent power strips into smart home systems to optimize energy usage and reduce waste. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Consumer Electronics:** Designing and manufacturing power strips for safe and convenient use in homes and offices. - **Home Improvement:** Providing solutions for homeowners seeking to promote safety and organization within their living spaces through innovative power strip designs. - **Green Technology:** Developing intelligent power management systems to promote energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprints in homes and businesses. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [U-Shaped Power Strip Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-strip-2.md) - [Pencil-Resembling Power Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pencil-multitap.md) - [Power Strip Illuminated Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightbox-power-strip.md) - [Artfully Dynamic Power Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aunion.md) - [Chic Technology Power Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/360-electrical-powercurve77.md) - [Nature-Inspired Puffy Power Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloud-air.md) - [Rotating Outlet Power Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oconnect-onestep.md) - [Modular Self-Monitoring Power Cubes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/teak-smart-cube.md) - [Modular Power Strip Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nodes.md)
