# Table-Top Dishwashers The Instant Dishwasher from Robert Lange Saves Space By Michael Hines | Published 2010-07-07 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instant-dishwasher References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2010/07/05/not-your-typical-dishwasher/) & [robertlange.net](http://www.robertlange.net/) I am convinced that all homes of the future will have a Robert Lange-designed Instant Dishwasher. This dishwasher [fits on your counter top](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-ultrasonic-dishwasher) and instantly cleans dishes. Now there will be no more dishes piling up just so that you can do a full load with the dishwasher. The Instant Dishwasher has a basket that raises up and down and can fit a small load like a few plates and cups. Robert Lange collaborated with [Bosch](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/powercontrol) on the Instant Dishwasher, so there is a chance that this could go from concept to reality someday. Hopefully, that day is soon because doing dishes just isn't any fun. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 29% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Space-saving Appliances:** The Instant Dishwasher's compact design offers an opportunity for innovative space-saving appliances in the home. - **Convenient Countertop Appliances:** The Instant Dishwasher's countertop placement opens up possibilities for other convenient appliances that can be easily accessed. - **Efficient Small Loads:** The Instant Dishwasher's ability to efficiently clean small loads suggests a trend towards more efficient appliances for smaller households. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Appliance:** The Instant Dishwasher presents a disruptive innovation opportunity for the home appliance industry, inspiring the creation of compact and efficient appliances. - **Kitchenware:** The Instant Dishwasher's countertop design presents an opportunity for the kitchenware industry to create innovative, space-saving dishware and utensils. - **Smart Home:** The Instant Dishwasher's integration with Bosch opens up possibilities for disruption in the smart home industry, with connected appliances and seamless automation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Entry-Level Countertop Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bugu-dishwasher.md) - [Small Space Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-dishwasher.md) - [Hyper-Fast Countertop Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/capsule-solo.md) - [Compact Countertop Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-countertop-dishwasher.md) - [Affordable Portable Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shabosh.md) - [Sterilizing Countertop Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/karlxtom-countertop-dishwasher.md) - [Stealthy Miniature Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mycup.md) - [Portable Handheld Dishwasher](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automated-portable-handheld-dishwasher.md) - [Elephant-Inspired Countertop Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elle.md)
