The Ino Bike is able to transform from an outdoor transportation bicycle into a stationary exercise bike in three simple folds. Compatible with [Apple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/personal-commuter) and Android products, the charging dock on the bike is able to replenish the drained battery of both smartphones and tablets. The dock is conveniently placed at the the front, providing the cyclist a bit of entertainment during their regular workout routine. When the device is docked, users can also track their exercise routines in regards to how hard they are peddling, momentum and speed. Unfortunately, this is still a concept item but the designers at IDEA LAB hope to roll out this item in 2014. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 70% | Activity: 57% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) > [Transportation](https://www.trendhunter.com/transportation) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Kinetic Energy Charging:** The usage of kinetic energy to power devices presents opportunities for innovative charging solutions. - **Transformable Bicycles:** Bicycles that can transform into different configurations offer potential for versatile transportation options. - **Exercise Tracking Devices:** Devices that track exercise routines and provide entertainment can enhance the workout experience. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Sustainable Energy:** Companies in the sustainable energy industry can explore the use of kinetic energy for powering devices. - **Bicycle Manufacturing:** Bicycle manufacturers can investigate the integration of charging docks and transformable features into their products. - **Fitness Technology:** Companies in the fitness technology industry can develop innovative exercise tracking devices integrated with entertainment features. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Productivity-Supporting Exercise Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acer-ekinekt-bd-3.md) - [Power-Generating Desk Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lifespan-ampera.md) - [Self-Charging E-Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vello-bike-design.md) - [Regenerative Cycling Equipment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/energy-keeper.md) - [Solar-Powered eBike Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beambike.md) - [Wireless Bike Battery Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiler.md) - [Cordless E‑Bike Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiler-compact.md) - [E-Bike Charging Partnerships](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bikeflex.md) - [Kinetic-Friendly Power Banks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/last-resort-power-bank.md)
