Innovacracy.org is still in beta but its change-making capabilities have already kickstarted. The goal is to support academic innovators, such as researchers and social entrepreneurs who are students, in their endeavors.

Universities, in today's skills-based economy, are sometimes seen as operating within a vacuum, especially where the humanities are concerned, however, the concepts that float around campuses have the potential to turn into "real life" projects. Thus, it's important that research has the ability -- and the opportunity -- to create on-the-ground impact.

So far, Innovacracy has partnered with the following education institutions in New York state: the [University of Rochester](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/innovation-fund), [Cornell University](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omnichannel-leadership-program), [Rochester Institute of Technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessible-adventures) and Clarkson University.

With Innovacracy.org's crowdfunding network, you have the ability to both sponsor innovations and submit your own, and do your part to making cool, progressive ideas a reality.
