While summer is the season for outdoor grilling, not everyone has the space for setting up a BBQ. This [indoor cooker](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/astralship-2in1-air-fryer-grill) helps consumers grill up everything from steaks to hot dogs without the mess. The Philips Infrared Indoor Grill is a kitchen-friendly appliance that uses [infrared technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/revo-stovigo) to evenly cook different kinds of meat without emitting smoke or grease. The appliance's aluminum grill is designed to create the perfect grill marks, while the slats underneath catch all the extra drippings. Once finished cooking, users can set the grill to the 'warm' mode to ensure dishes stay pipping hot. Made up of dishwasher-safe pieces, the kitchen-friendly grill is perfect for apartment-dwellers who love the taste of grilled meat. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 97% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Smokeless Indoor Grills:** The rise of smokeless indoor grills presents an innovative solution for consumers who desire grilled dishes without the need for an outdoor BBQ. - **Infrared Cooking Technology:** The use of infrared technology in indoor grills disrupts the traditional cooking methods by providing even heat distribution and smoke-free cooking. - **Apartment-friendly Grilling:** The demand for grilling appliances suitable for apartment living presents a disruptive opportunity for manufacturers to create compact and efficient indoor grills. ### Who This Affects Most - **Kitchen Appliances:** The growth of smokeless indoor grills offers an opportunity for kitchen appliance manufacturers to create innovative, high-performance grilling solutions for consumers. - **Home Improvement:** As more consumers seek space-saving alternatives to traditional BBQ setups, the home improvement industry can cater to this demand by providing innovative grilling options for indoor cooking spaces. - **Apartment Living:** The rise of apartment-friendly grilling appliances opens up new possibilities for the real estate industry, as apartment developers can create outdoor-like amenities such as community grilling spaces within limited spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smoke-Free Countertop Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/powerxl-smokeless-grill.md) - [Sleek Fume-Removing Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instant-indoor-grill.md) - [Infrared Indoor Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cozytime-lumo.md) - [Indoor High-Heat Steak Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-steakhouse-grill.md) - [Smokeless Indoor Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gourmia-foodstation.md) - [Smokeless Compact Indoor Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/city-grill-1.md) - [Charcoal-Like Indoor Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carbon-graphite-grill.md) - [High-Performance Electric Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intelligent-electric-grill.md) - [Smart Indoor Smoker Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ge-profile-indoor-smoker.md)
