The design incorporates a shapeshifting aesthetic that enables it to transform in moments from one mode that's ideal for maneuvering seamlessly, to another that puts them at eye level with those who are standing in front of them. This increases one's sense of confidence by eliminating the occurrence of being looked down on when they are at work, amongst friends or simply going about their daily routine. The 'Infinito' wheelchair is the design work of Hoyoung Youn, Sungyub Lee and Jiyoon Han, and has been inspired by the Dosnoventa bike brand. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Shapeshifting Mobility Aids:** The 'Infinito' wheelchair features a shapeshifting aesthetic to provide users with confidence and inclusivity. - **Ultra-modern Aesthetic in Mobility Aids:** The 'Infinito' wheelchair's ultra-modern design offers a contemporary solution to assistive mobility. - **Enhanced User Experience in Mobility Aids:** The 'Infinito' wheelchair improves the user experience by bringing them to eye level with others, promoting inclusivity and reducing stigma. ### Who This Affects Most - **Assistive Technology:** The 'Infinito' wheelchair showcases the potential for innovative designs in the assistive technology industry. - **Mobility Solutions:** The 'Infinito' wheelchair exemplifies the transformative power of modern mobility solutions. - **Design and Manufacturing:** The 'Infinito' wheelchair calls for collaboration between designers and manufacturers to create inclusive and aesthetically pleasing mobility aids. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Luxury Discrete Wheelchair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/discrete-wheelchair.md) - [Demurely Designed Mobility Aids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-rollator-concept.md) - [Two-in-One Senior Mobility Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfdriving-wheelchair.md) - [Luxe Lounge Motorized Wheelchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-resilience.md) - [Modular Powered Wheelchair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wheelchair-hand-cycle.md) - [Upright Wheelchair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kime-wheelchair.md) - [Sleek Robotic Wheelchair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robotic-wheelchair.md) - [Transformable Lightweight Wheelchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wheeliy.md) - [Flatpack Ultra-Modular Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nebula-chair.md)
